I joined MICRRH in late June 2008 to take up the vacant position of Pharmacy Academic. In this position my role is to facilitate and enhance the rural and remote experience of pharmacy students undertaking a placement with MICRRH. In addition to working with MICRRH I will be working part-time in the Mt Isa Base Hospital pharmacy. Where I will pursue my interests in clinical pharmacy.


  •  2004: completed BPh (JCU)
  •  2005: completed pre-registration training program.
  •  2006-mid 2006: worked as clinical pharmacist on medical ward at Mackay Base Hospital
  •  Mid 2006-early 2007: worked as pharmacist in community pharmacy (Dunedin, New Zealand)
  •  Mid 2007- early 2008: worked as pharmacy technician in Beatson Cancer Centre (Glasgow, Scotland)
