Overview
I have been working as a RN since 1991 and a Paramedic since 1996. I accidentally stumbled across the JCU Post Grad Diploma in Tropical Medicine and Public Health course
in 1992 when a RN from NZ wanted to go to the Anton Brienal Centre to enrol and I offered to take her. The course sounded interesting so I applied and got hooked on
the subjects.I ended up doing the MPH&TM which I thoroughly enjoyed. I was able to utilize my studies as the Torres Strait Field Officer. A position that I only left because of the birth of my daughter. I am currently working at Winton ambulance station. I also continue to work casually as a RN.
